The Discovery Field 10×50 is a water-resistant optical device designed for open-field observations.Based on the classic Porro-scheme, high-aperture 50mm optics gathers lots of light. The lenses are multi-coated with an anti-reflective coating. As both in daylight and at dusk, the optics provides a bright, high-contrast image.
With optics made of BK-7 optical glass, the body of the Discovery Field 10×50 is made of durable plastic and is also rubberized. The exterior surface is textured, which prevents the binoculars from slipping out of even wet hands. The binoculars can be mounted on a tripod for stationary observations (a standard 1/4 thread).
