Bringsel / referring dummy
Bringsel are used in various areas (e.g. rescue dogs, hunting dogs, scout dogs).
The dog should learn to indicate a find (e.g. a victim or wildlife) without touching it.
To do this, the dog takes the catch to indicate something to his dog owner.
Before the dog begins the search, the ring is attached to his collar. If he ‘find something’, he takes the catch in the catch, searches his dog guide and thus ‘reports’ his find.
The dog ‘references’ his dog guide and is also called ‘reference’, or in this case “Bringselver”.
This training is also often described as ‘high school’.
We have developed our Bringsel together with a rescue dog season from southern Germany.
The ring has a lightweight and rotating carabiner for quick and easy attachment to the collar. The material is a very robust, impregnated and high-quality fabric, which is filled with soft fabric.
