parking sensor system is designed for an easy installation where you cannot or do not want to drill a bumper to fit parking sensors and or a reversing camera. The two sensors are neatly mounted into each side of the number plate frame. The camera then sits in the middle facing directly outwards. The camera produces a colour image of the rear of your car showing reversing guidelines and an overlay of digital countdown in distance for each of the left and right sensors. The number plate frame replaces the frame that comes on many European cars as standard or it attaches to the car using the current screw holes securing the number plate and your number plate then clips into the frame. You may then need to make one small hole behind the number plate to feed a single cable through to inside the car or depending on your vehicle this could be routed upwards under a boot handle and into the car. As with our standard parking sensor systems the PPS200C then simply connects to the reversing light bulb for power and then is comes on automatically when you select reverse gear. There is no separate control box on this kit, all the electronics are built into the number plate frame leaving a single cable routing though into the vehicle that has connector for the supplied buzzer, power and the camera output. The camera has some little locking screws allowing you to adjust the angle of the camera up and down depending on the height you have mounted. The PP200C also comes with a buzzer which you also mount in the boot which gives you audio beeps starting at 1.5m which will increase in frequency as you get closer to an object giving you a constant tone to stop at 30cm.
