The Draper XP1000 VDE wire strippers have been manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. The induction-hardened jaws provide ultimate effortless clean cutting for a long-term performance, all finished with an anti-corrosive dark painted finish. A threaded screw allows for accurate setting of depth for stripping wires. Precision-machined pivot pins not only allow for a smooth one-handed operation with minimum play for use but increases the ease of cutting harder wires. Made from two part bi-material with an ergonomic soft grip handle that allows for maximum grip and user comfort, in addition, they have been designed with horns to protect you from slipping onto live conductors. Each VDE wire stripper has been individually tested to 10,000V suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The wire strippers have a maximum cutting capacity of 10mm.
