odbus Electricity Usage Meter The SDM72D-M-2-MID Electricity Usage Monitor is a three-phase multifunction 100A direct-fed DIN rail-mounted electricity meter. With a digital backlit LCD display for clear data visibility, it measures and displays characteristics of 2p3w and 3p4w supplies, connecting to other devices via Modbus RS485 communication. It can measure power (Watts) and active energy(kWh) and identifies energy consumption reduction areas – for maximum energy-saving potential and cost saving. Widely used in PV and EV charging points applications. Consumption can be called directly on the display and analysed in real-time. Fail-safe and multifunctional, the meter level is retained in the event of a power failure. Values are not resettable – the S0 and RS485 Modbus RTU interfaces are suitable for remote reading, e.g. in building technology, energy management systems, and industrial and switching systems.
