g & Snail Powder contains diatomaceous earth, a natural mineral made up of the fossilised remains of diatoms: a type of hard-shelled algae. In granular form, diatomaceous earth is highly absorbent and its surface area is full of microscopically sharp edges. Slugs and snails do not like the abrasive surface and will avoid crossing it. Any that do will quickly dehydrate and die. Entoend Slug and Snail Powder provides a physical barrier against many other common garden pests, including: various larvae, wireworm, and non-beneficial caterpillers. It is also effective against aphids and thrips when dusted directly onto leaves.
