The ‘birdiepal octagon’ is just as stable as the ‘birdiepal outdoor’ (known as the world’s most stable trekking chime), but at the same time with only approx. 300 g much lighter. The name is owed to its newly developed 8-sided fibreglass shaft, which can withstand extreme loads. A new, wafer-thin and extremely durable polyamide fabric with Teflon treatment (beading effect and dirt-repellent) contributes to weight loss. Metal parts are almost completely omitted. Flexible and shatter-proof high-density fibreglass rails as well as a safety slider complete the good features. A lightweight and hand-friendly high-density EVA hard foam handle with grooved profile, the adjustable carrying strap and the practical carrying case with strap are other extras. Perfect umbrella for extreme weather conditions on the tour.
