Layer your cat’s litter tray with approx. 5-7cm (2-3inches) of Extra Select Silica Cat Litter. Use a cat litter scoop to remove solids every day and stir thoroughly to ensure complete use of the litter. Completely change contents and wash out tray using a mild detergent when odour or wetness is noticeable. If the Extra Select Silica Cat Litter starts to turn yellow, do not worry, it is only the colour from the urine that has been locked inside the silica. It is recommended that pregnant and nursing mothers with small children should use rubber gloves when handling litter trays, washing hands thoroughly afterwards.
