Most commonly found on V Brakes, U Brakes and Linear Pull Brakes style of nutted brake pad is found on most styles of bike including Mountain Bikes, Hybrid Bikes, Tandems, Folding Bikes and Touring Bikes. It is rare that they would be fitted on a Road Bikeious to this type of pad you used to have pads with a bare clamping pillar, these were suited to fit older style cantilever brakes.
