The rear straps adjust very easily by pulling them out of the grooves & moving to a different position to adjust for all different boot sizes, in my photos they are placed

Note:
1.Be sure and remove them before stepping onto the ice, otherwise you will fall spectacularly!
2.Place them on the outer ledge near the ice door while you’re skating.
3.Retrieve them when you step off the ice, but be sure and wipe the snow from your blades before you put the guards on Also, use a toothbrush to clean them out from time to time, otherwise the collected dust and debris will dull your blades.
