The GARDENA Select Control gives helpful irrigation suggestions for the five typical garden areas, such as grass, crops, hedges, potted plants and flowerbeds. The watering computer supports in watering the garden e.g. in the operation of sprinklers or a drip irrigation like the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System or the GARDENA Sprinkler System. It controls the irrigation reliably in accordance with the program suggestions, but you can easily change them if your desires or experiences differ from those proposed. Once the programming is done, you need not think about it again in everyday life or while on vacation because everything runs automatically according to your specifications. Comfortable: Remove the front panel so you can simply enter the desired settings by pressing a button. Very easy to use: The selected settings are displayed on the clearly structured LCD display and the settings for irrigation start, duration and frequency are successively called up and changed. Input your specifications as required, the computer automatically controls the watering according to your wishes and you have watering free time. With a 9 Volt alkaline battery (not included) the SelectControl functions reliably for approximately one year. Even safer: A weak battery condition is indicated. To let you know when the battery needs to be replaced. Optionally, a soil moisture or rain sensor can be connected. The big advantage: When it rains or the soil is sufficiently moist, the programmed run time is ended and thus saves precious water. Intelligent With the sensor program and a soil moisture sensor, soil moisture is tested at night and the watering starts automatically when the ground is dry.
