- WORKS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS – The Amplicall 150 is the portable receiver of a home alert system for the hearing and visually impaired that you can attach to your belt, or wear around your neck (lanyard not supplied). This device will ring and vibrate when it receives a signal from a transmitter located somewhere in your house. Therefore, it cannot be used on its own and needs to be paired with other Geemarc products (not included) from the same range in order for it to work.
- ALERTS YOU WHEN YOUR ATTENTION IS NEEDED Depending on what products it is paired with, the Amplicall 150 can alert you when someone is at the door (Amplicall 101), when you have an incoming call on your landline phone (Amplicall 110), when a high-pitched sound such as the crying of a baby is detected in a room (Amplicall 140), or when someone in your house has pressed on one of the signal transmitters emergency button.
- LOUD RINGER AND POWERFUL SHAKER With its 75dB loud ringer and built-in shaker, the Amplicall 150 will have no problem attracting your attention and directing it wherever it is needed. If you are wondering how loud this device really is, think that the sound made by a vacuum cleaner is usually measured at around 75dB as well.
- UP TO 4 SIGNAL TRANSMITTERS There are 4 light indicators on the Amplicall 150 to represent the 4 transmitters that it can be paired with, and they will flash each time the transmitter they correspond to is activated, or needs new batteries. A different melody can be assigned to each transmitter, so that you can understand which one has been activated by just listening to the melody (there are 32 you can choose from). Indoors, the transmitters can be up to 30 meters away from the Amplicall 150.
- WORKS ON RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES The Amplicall 150 is powered by lithium batteries (included) which can be recharged by placing the Amplicall 150 on the charging cradle it is supplied with, or by plugging it directly into the mains as one could do with a mobile phone.
