A natural product made of grass fibre and fresh fibre. Where does it come from? It is sourced from so-called levelling surfaces. These are areas that cannot be managed but must be compensated for example of newly built roads or facilities in cities. No habitats are destroyed – no clearance of forests. The paper consists of up to 50% sun-dried grass. It is made from 100% natural fabrics and can be completely processed without chemicals. Only a minimum of energy and water is required to produce the grass paper. It is completely free from mineral oil and any harmful substances and is produced without bleaching or artificial colouring. What else is important to know? Grass as a new, innovative raw material brings many advantages for the production of paper and cardboards: energy saving over 90% and the CO² reduction by 75% and no chemicals in raw material production.
