A steel rod is threaded on both ends for smooth, unbinding action that evenly applies tension along the entire length of the rod. Rod is shrink-wrapped to minimize rattle or the possibility of any glue interfering with rod function. Requires a 1/4-inch x 3/8-inch channel route and can be installed with the adjustment nut at either end of the neck. Perfect choice for any new build, vintage repair or restoration.
