The Homematic IP module for Hörmann drives allows comfortable and intelligent control of the garage door via Homematic IP smartphone app or remote control. The integration of the Hörmann drive into the Homematic IP Smart Home system is very simple. The module is connected to a compatible garage door drive via connector and thanks to the small size it can easily be stored in the drive housing. Then the drive takes over the power supply of the module, which does not require additional cables. The Homematic IP Access Point is required as a central element of the smart home system for start-up via a free smartphone app as well as the operation of the device. Alternatively, the module can be operated with a central CCU2/CCU3 as well as via numerous partner solutions.
