Its high strength stainless steel blade is 45mm wide and 1.5mm thick. This accommodates work with standard stud dimensions and a center line makes it easy to quickly mark out both sides of a stud. It also has scribing notches spaced 5mm apart, these can be used to draw or cut a line parallel along an edge. The precision cut blade and riveting have very small tolerances to provide high precision; angle tolerance ±0.03° (±0.5 mm/m).
