Highest concentration, a targeted throw, trembling, fellow fevers and joint cheering – the Kubb game is becoming increasingly popular. It is played under the open sky on lawn, sand or other solid ground and consists of several rounds of play. For game preparation, the corner rods make a rectangular field (approx. 5 x 8 m) and on the shorter basic lines, 5 kubbs (blocks) are spaced at a distance of approx. 1 m. The king stands at the centre line. The two teams consisting of at least one and a maximum of 6 participants throw alternately with the round throwing woods after the Kubbs and try to throw them over. When all the blocks are hit, the king comes to the last turn. The team who first overlays the opponent’s Kubbs and the King. Included are 10 cubbs, 6 throwing woods, 1 king, 4 corner sticks and a practical cotton bag for storing and transporting the game.
