This characterises the modernization of the artillery of the United States. The first use of medium-sized artillery was made in 1942 and served towards the end of World War II. The hood has a range of 14,600 metres. Due to the operating time, the hood has proven how resistant and durable it was. Even after the Second World War, the Howitzer was still used during the Korean War and during the Vietnam War before it was finally replaced by the M198 hoister. Length of model: 20.9 cm
