Ohara Koson (also Hōson, Shōson) is a renowned master of ukiyo-e and kachō-e (bird-and-flower art).
His depictions of birds, animals and flowers are quite naturalistic in style, with keenly observed plumage, movements, colours and small details being almost a study in natural history science. The delicate lines and hues, the graceful balance and intricate compositions add a sense of ethereal beauty to these observed or imagined scenes of nature ♡
Satin finish for a vivid colour reproduction on the front, reverse can be written on with all types of instruments.
