We are often asked to supply new new kneading blades because they seem a loose fit on the drive shaft. This is quite normal, the blade does not need fit tightly to work properly. In our experience a kneading blade has never become dislodged during the baking cycle, however they can often become stuck in the base of the loaf when removing it from the bread pan which is quite normal.
