It also has a textured surface to help hold hair on the board while you apply colour. It’s part of Kumi’s Wheat range of bioplastic tinting equipment, made from plastic derived from wheat straw to be better for the planet. The innovative manufacturing process combines straw waste from cereal farming with polypropylene for a 40% reduction in the use of petrochemicals.
