What distinguishes the Comfort dog lead from conventional leads?
The biggest difference is the material used. Most conventional leads are made of nylon. We use viscose made from bamboo fibres. Nylon is a synthetic fibre produced using chemical processes. The raw material is petroleum. Our lead is made of bamboo viscose. Viscose is also obtained via chemical processes, but uses natural and renewable raw materials as a starting product. In our case: bamboo.
How makes this difference noticeable?
You will feel the difference immediately when you hold the lead in your hands! Nylon dog leads are very smooth and slippery when wet. If the dog pulls hard, the smooth nylon fibres can hurt their hands. Viscose is similar to cotton, a very soft fibre that is comfortable on the skin. Strong pressure from a pulling dog, feel much less than nylon leashes.
How stable is the comfort leash?
The stability of our lead is at the same level as conventional leads. We use sturdy metal carabiner hooks and attach great importance to high-quality workmanship of the seams.
