This double CD is a full career-to-date survey of a London band whove toured the world, whove recorded seven studio albums and had seven sessions for John Peel since 1995, building a loyal following in many countries.
Includes all the UK single A-sides, many of which were numbered limited editions, all of which are now deleted.
Seven tracks never before on CD.
Contains representative album tracks from every stage of the bands career.
More than half of these tracks were recorded at Toe Rag Studios, many of them years before it gained its international recognition. Also contains recordings made at Londons legendary Pathway studio, birthplace of many great 1970s punk singles.
The lavish booklet features extensive sleevenotes telling the story of the band written by frontman (and journalist) Max Décharné, together with numerous rare photographs, posters and memorabilia. His witty notes really give an insight into the bands whole dynamic.
A perfect in-depth introduction to the work of a band which has released 120 studio tracks in the past decade.
