nel mar dei Caraibi il pirata Barbanera.Nata come imbarcazione per il trasporto
di schiavi e battente bandiera francese,era caduta nel 1717 nelle mani degli uomini
di Mr.Blackbeard ed era stata ribatezzata “Queen Anne’s Revenge”.Ma dopo aver assunto
la nuova denominazione navigò per circa un anno: nel 1718 si arenò e non fu più
utilizzata.Anche il suo proprietario morì nella battaglia di Ocracoke.Con il tempo
il relitto andò in rovina per poi scivolare progressivamente sul fondo dell’Atlantico,al
largo delle coste del Nord Carolina,dove si trova tuttora.Da quel relitto sottomarino
tutte le parti, in tre anni, sono state riportate in superficie per poter ricomporre
questa mitica nave.

BlackBeard was the ship that drove for the oceans and especially in the Caribbean
Sea the pirate Barbanera. Known as a boat for the carriage of slaves and flying
French flag, it fell in 1717 into the hands of Mr.Blackbeard’s men and Queen Anne’s
Revenge had been rebuilt. But after taking on the new name, he sailed for about
a year: in 1718 he fled and was no longer used. Even his owner died in the Battle
of Ocracoke. With the time the wreck went into ruin and then progressively slip
to the bottom of the Atlantic, off the coasts of North Carolina, where it is still
today. From that submarine wreck all the parts, in three years, have been restored
to the surface to recapture this mythical ship.
