Oat groats are a great value wild bird food, which is highly nutritious and great value for money. The groats we offer are all dust free. Groats are produced from clean sound first quality white milling oats. They are made by dehulling oats and removing all the broken kernals and fines. Groats are loved by numerous types of garden birds. Some bird-keepers feed a dish of Groats (de-husked oats) to their budgies regularly to add weight to the birds prior to breeding. An underweight hen could become unwell if underweight.
