It can be used in one strip or cut. It sticks to leather, suede, vinyl and many other upholstery fabrics. MastaPlasta patches also stick to metal, wood and plastic. MastaPlasta Suede Repair On A Roll is made just like our famous MastaPlasta leather repair patches – the world’s first self-adhesive leather repair solution which holds two patents and two of the UK’s Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. It is made from luxury vegan MastaHide (approved by Peta) – it looks like suede, acts like suede and feels like suede. It is breathable, supple, strong and stain-resistant. About 1.5mm thick, a unique tightly woven backing provides cushioning against damage below. APPLICATION: Simple! Just peel off the backing paper (note the patch is more flexible once backing paper is removed), then press down the patch over damaged area. You can use item straightaway. The bond strengthens over 24 hours. ●Make sure patch is big enough to cover the damage and still have some smooth, stable surface beneath to bond to. ●Check the damaged area is dust-free and dry but do not clean with chemicals as this can affect bonding. ●When applying on an area subject to a lot of friction, make sure the edges are positioned where they are least likely to be subject to constant rubbing. Take care over bumpy seams and folds; a patch should follow the contours of the fabric beneath. When the item is in use, pressures exerted on a poorly applied patch may put undue stress on the bonding. ●MastaPlasta products use an amazing water-based adhesive. Designed for one-time application. Not suitable for machine-washing. ●To clean: wipe with damp cloth.
