Proximity readers are the easiest way to interact with the SmartLiving system. Simply by bringing the tag or card closer to the reader, you can issue commands to the system. The proximity reader can be used to insert and disarm the system or portions of it but also to require the system to perform actions such as opening a door or turning on a light or perhaps a set of actions that can be associated with a specific Macro. INIM offers two versions of the proximity reader: the wall version named nBy/S and the built-in version named nBy/X. The nBy/S wall version is designed to easily integrate into the most diverse housing and commercial scenarios. Its small size reduces its impact and makes it an eye-catching object. The nBy/S wall version incorporates tear and anti-opening protections and a signaling buzzer used by the power plant to draw the user’s attention. In addition, thanks to the mechanical solutions adopted and the seals used, the nBy/S wall version is IP34 grade and therefore can also be used outdoors.
