Petzl Macchu Junior Harness Intended for children weighing less than 40 kg (88 lbs.), MACCHU is a seat harness designed for climbing. Its fully adjustable design, and optional BODY shoulder straps, enable this harness to adapt to both your growing child’s needs and climbing levels from top-roping through lead climbing. Designed to keep your little ones safe whilst climbing, the Petzl Macchu Harness is constructed for ultimate comfort. Padding has been used in the waistband and leg loops to ensure added comfort where it’s needed the most. The padding sits comfortably against the skin to increase comfort during indoor or outdoor climbs. Additionally, to reduce chafing and irritation your skin will never come in contact with the stitching on the inside of the harness so you can climb without distractions. Endoframe technology has also been used on the Macchu Harness to allow for optimal weight distribution. Endoframe combines thin foam and special webbing to ensure even weight distribution, the webbing also wider at the hips to provide added support and relieve pressure. The Macchu harness is ideal for children less than 40kg (88lbs.) and can be adjusted to fit varying body types. Adaptable with the growth of children, the double back waistbelt and leg loop buckles can be quickly and easily adjusted to fit any child’s size when wearing seasonal clothing. As well as this, for learners, optional body shoulder straps can be added to ensure your child remains in an upright position at all times. Two tie-in points and a belay loop of a different colour allows you to quickly check that the belay device is properly attached to increase overall safety. A rear accessory loop allows you to attach a chalk bag whilst two rigid gear loops positioned at the front ensures quick and easy access to equipment. Completing the Macchu Harness are detachable rear leg loop elastics which ensure a stay-put fit.
