This PFIFF Coolpack cooling and heat gaiter is an innovative solution for pet care. Especially after intensive training sessions and heavy loads. This gaiter uses the benefits of cold and heat therapy to reduce swelling and inflammation faster and promote leg recovery. The easy handling thanks to the four quick-release fasteners allow flexible adjustment to the leg and thus individual pressure regulation. This is especially important as excessive pressure can disrupt blood circulation and lead to discomfort. The battery included in the delivery, place the heat therapy for approx. 50 seconds in the microwave, or heat it for approx. 2 minutes in a water bath – for cold therapy, place it in the freezer for at least an hour before use. We recommend always keeping a battery refrigerated in case of emergency. The terry cloth insert on the inside allows the gaiter to gently hug the horse’s leg, which is particularly beneficial for horses with sensitive skin. This type of padding helps to avoid friction and pressure points, while providing some breathability to minimize overheating and sweating as well as hypothermia under the gaiter. The insulation on the outside of the gaiter helps to ensure that the cooling/heating for the recommended treatment time of approx. 20-30 minutes or more, which is essential for effective regeneration.
