The PocketWizard 13369-S Remote ACC cable is a remote shutter release cable. It’s used for connecting Sony’s Alpha cameras and others with Sony’s multi/micro USB port to any PocketWizard radio to control both the half-press and full-press function of your remote camera’s shutter release. When a camera is “pre-triggered”, it’s like holding your camera’s shutter release button in the half-pressed or metering/focusing position. This cable allows a compatible PocketWizard radio to independently control both half-press and full-press functions. The cable is 91cm and has a multi/micro-USB connection and a USB Type-A on one end, and 3.5mm stereo mini-phone connection on the other. The mini-phone jack is compatible with any PocketWizard radio and plugs directly into the radio’s sync port. The other end plugs into the camera’s Multi/micro-USB port to establish a connection from the receiving radio to fire off the camera. This type of connection keeps the camera continuously awake and ready to fire instantly. What’s more, you can use the cable to power your camera by plugging it into the micro-USB port and the USB Type-A connection into an external battery power.
