This is a premium, high-quality, hand mixed cork grease, specially designed for woodwind instrument tenon joint corks. Suitable for all Clarinets, Oboes, and Bassoons, as well as Saxophone neck joint cork. Indeed, it is suitable for all woodwind instruments which use cork to connect the parts together. Our product is made in the UK from an old and original recipe and given the size of the tin, is particularly suitable for larger woodwind instruments, such as bassoons, alto, contra alto, bass and contra bass clarinets. What’s special about our beeswax cork grease, is that we have significantly reduced the amount of petroleum jelly in our recipe using just enough to provide sufficient lubrication without compromising the integrity of the corks.
