This Tar Brush is ideal for applying a range of high viscosity or heavy build coatings such as tar, bitumen paint and damp proofing liquids. Featuring high capacity dyed natural coco bristle for fast, efficient coverage mounted onto a sturdy 8” wooden handle, it is ideal for sealing surfaces and repairing leaks and damage to previous coatings on surfaces such as flat roofs, sheds and roads. A tar brush is often employed as a single-use brush, as cleaning may not be a viable option due to the nature of some of the products it is used to apply. This product is not recommended for applying emulsion or masonry paints, wood treatments or GRP/fibreglass resins as it will not give a smooth enough finish.
