Yupo paper is a unique ultra-smooth synthetic tear resistant paper, ideal for use with alcohol inks and watercolours. Alcohol inks are fast-drying alcohol-based inks that create bright flowing textures and ideal for use with Yupo paper, popularly used in pour painting. Once the ink is applied, the alcohol evaporates, leaving the dye behind. Once it dries it can be re-wet with rubbing alcohol, providing unique and versatile effects that can’t be achieved with water-based products like acrylic paint.
