RECOACTIV Heart Tonic for cats
For cats with heart dysfunction and for prevention RECOACTIV Heart Tonic is a palatable, low-sodium dietary supplement, developed for cats with heart dysfunction and as a preventive daily food supplement. The product is suitable for adult cats from age seven to eight, in particular those with a diagnosed heart problem. The product can also be administered preventively to younger pure-bred cats. Some breeds such as Maine Coon and Persians are frequently affected. Taurine is an aminosulphonic acid that is essential to your cat’s health, but which cats cannot produce themselves. Sufficient amounts must therefore be included in their daily nutrition. Cats with insufficient taurine intake can develop weakened heart function. Due to the heart’s ability to compensate, such an insufficiency usually remains asymptomatic and thus undetected. We therefore recommend supplementing your cat’s food with taurine as soon as they reach the senior stage of life.

Directions
The tonic is administered with food at mealtime. Dosage: 2 x 5 ml per day up to 4 kg body weight, 2 x 7,5 ml per day from 4 kg body weight. Length of application: The product should be administered for at least one month. If necessary, the product can be given permanently. Fresh water should always be readily available. After opening, refrigerate at 4-7°C and use within 10 days. Shake bottle vigorously before use!
