The universal roller shutter lock and the roller shutter suspension for manual, electric or crank roller blinds prevent the roller shutter from being pushed upward from the outside. The number of intermediate links depends on the height of the roller shutter curtain in the box and the width of the roller shutter box. The height of the suspension is adjustable by simply removing superfluous links. The anti-uprising device Schellenberg is suitable for lintel or new construction boxes as well as for conventional roller shutters mounted on the facade or in an wall lamp. The universal lock is ideal for gearboxes with a slip clutch or end of stroke stops. It is the ideal complement for installing roller shutter motors with obstacle detection, such as the PLUS and PREMIUM roller shutter motors from Schellenberg . The lock is not suitable for electric drives without limit switching. An anti-lifting device must not exceed an armoured weight of 7 kg. Up to a roller shutter width of 140 cm, two roller shutter suspensions are sufficient. For every additional 80 cm, you will need another universal anti-lift device to ensure that the roller shutter can be rolled up without problems.
Close the roller shutter before installation.
-Measure the width of the roller shutter and select the appropriate number of safety fasteners (up to 140 cm = 2 suspensions/an additional suspension is added for every 80 cm more).
-Measure the width of the roller shutter case and the height of the curtain in the trunk (determine the appropriate number of links, follow the instructions in the installation manual, remove a roller shutter profile if necessary).
– Adjust the height of the anti-lifting device if necessary, simply remove the superfluous links.
-Swipe the roller shutter suspensions onto the upper profile bar of the roller shutter apron. The mounting profile can be changed by rotating, i.e. selecting the side for MINI or MAXI as required.
-Detach the mounting clip from the anti-lifting device, place the fixing element on the square hole in the octagonal shaft and tighten it in place.
-Do the same for the other suspensions. Done.
-Note It is also possible to screw the safety latches onto the roller shutter shaft. The screw must not come into contact with the roller shutter motor.
