Gesso provides excellent surface preparation for acrylic or oil paint. It is ideal for directly sealing all semi-absorbent surfaces before applying colour. Its viscosity and titanium white concentration make it particularly covering. Simply apply with a roller or paintbrush to a clean, non-greasy surface i.E. canvas, plaster, hardboard, MDF before painting. Gesso dries quickly leaving a light matt finish, which improves the adhesion of the acrylic or oil layers Brushes can be cleaned with soap and water after use
