The Sjöstrand Coffee Concept was born on Christmas morning, 2012, on an Island in the Stockholm archipelago. That’s when we envisioned earth-friendly sustainable coffee pods for environmentally conscious coffee lovers, and the seed of our inspiration was planted.
SJÖSTRAND FRENCH COFFEE PRESS was designed for the conscious coffee lover who likes to manually brew perfectly smooth and aromatic coffee. Conceptually in line with SJÖSTRAND ESPRESSO MACHINE and MILK FROTHER, the cafetière is crafted with sustainability and longevity in mind, as the product is made with stainless steel protecting it from cracks and rust for a long service-life. The cafetières timeless, mirror-finish design is aesthetically pleasing in all settings, regardless of indoor or outdoor settings, giving your coffee a luxurious feeling when served directly from the vessel.
The double-walled insulation maintains the optimal temperature for your coffee, as well as protects and minimizes the potential risks of burns on the surface. The double filter plunger in stainless steel provides unparalleled filtration, serving you the smoothest cup of coffee – every time! The plunger can also be easily disassembled for easy clean-up.
For perfect results, follow the instructions below:
Put coarsely-ground coffee beans into the pot. Add one rounded tablespoon of coffee for every 1.25 dl/4 oz of water. Boil the water and let cool until the temperature falls to 92 – 96° – the optimal brewing temperature for coffee. Pour in the water and let the coffee brew for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, press down the plunger and let stand for about a minute for a fuller, richer flavour.
