The meteo centre includes a wireless outdoor sensor which transmits outdoor temperature and air humidity. This data is then used to create a local forecast based on the change in values over the last hour. The meteo centre also measures the indoor temperature and air humidity.
The clock function is linked to the international radio clock for accuracy. It also has a timer function for baking and a separate alarm facility with a snooze button. The clock also displays the date.
The meteo centre is further a high spec weighing scale. It has a load capacity up to 5 kg/9 lb with increments of 1 g/0.05 oz. For added convenience there is an add-weight (tare) facility. This allows you to weigh more than one ingredient in the same bowl and to zero the scales when each ingredient is added. To help conserve the battery life, the scale has an auto off function – ideal for busy kitchens. The digital display is large for quick and easy reading.
