- The Unisex Staveley wheelchair rain cape features taped seams making it 100% waterproof it has also been specifically designed with a lengthened front which will help prevent water from running in to the users shoes when raining, it has also been lengthened at the back to protect any wheelchair back packs from getting wet
- This cape is perfect for both self-propelled and electric wheelchair users. At the back of the cape there are openings for wheelchair handles to pass through if being pushed by someone else or they can remain closed with Velcro if you prefer to self-propel.
- The openings at the back of the cape for the wheelchair handles to pass through have been specifically lengthened to give the user greater forward mobility so not to be pinned into the chair, this can sometimes happen with other capes.
- Features of this wheelchair poncho include, an easy-to-use dual zipper puller meaning the cape can be zipped up by the user from the inside of the poncho as well out the outside. There are two Velcro loop attachments on this cape that can be used to fasten the cape to the wheelchair in windy conditions to prevent the cape from blowing up. The cape also comes with a handy storage bag so when not in use it conveniently packs away.
