The new Talbot Torro Isoforce 1011.7 with 75g unstrung and 80g strung weight is one of the lightest badminton rackets ever, if not the lightest and the top racket of the popular Isoforce series by Talbot-Torro. The low weight is made possible by high quality Carbon4 (Hi-Modulus Graphite, lighter and harder than classic graphite) with Kevlar reinforcements, plus a slim frame and shaft construction and also through the attached hollow graphite handle. Instead of the usual wooden handle, the Isoforce 1011 uses a hollow graphite handle that saves approx. 5g in weight. It is also interesting that the 5 g saved in the handle shifts the center of gravity / balance towards the racket head. The Isoforce 1011 is thus a very light racket, but due to the shifted center of gravity, it still has enough weight in the head for a powerful game and more smashes. Due to the isometric head shape, the sweetsport (optimal hitting point) is slightly larger, which makes the racket more forgiving for off-centre hits. Here, the eyelet / string holes are slightly enlarged by the frame, so that the string can swing through the frame => generating more power through larger trampoline effect. The slightly slimmer and thinner shaft (Slim Shaft) makes the racket lighter and more aerodynamic. The Premium 2-piece construction allows for an extremely precise manufacture of the shaft, which is thinner, lighter and exactly the same dimensions in all directions. The Isoforce 1011 is provided with the multifilament Talbot-Torro Galaxy 0.8mm string – durable and elastic. The maximum recommended tension is 10 kg.
