Winsor & Newton Classic Watercolour Paper Classic Watercolour Paper is made by experienced papermakers in Italy from a blend of 25% cotton and cellulose fibres. The paper has a fine-grained surface and is ideal for most watercolour styles, gouache, fineliner and ink. The paper provides a good light reflection and preserves the transparency of watercolour paint. Thanks to the inner and outer gluing, the paper has optimal absorbency and is extremely stable. Classic watercolour paper is acid-free and contains no optical brighteners. The natural white paper has an archivable quality and does not yellow. Manufactured with electricity from hydropower to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases in production and made from FSC certified pulp to protect the forests.
